Kelvin Tersoo Jiraji Appointed Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa operations for the AFRICA CHAMBER OF DIGITAL COMMERCE Inc (ACOFDC).
The Africa Chamber of Digital Commerce (ACOFDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kelvin as the new Managing Director for Sub-saharan Africa operations, effective February 10, 2023. Kelvin is transitioning as the Head of Communications/DECENTRALIZED Media to his new role of providing strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of our mission, initiatives and interventions in Sub-saharan Africa.
A Tony Elumelu Foundation and Leap Africa fellow, Kelvin brings a wealth of experience in human capital development, Agritech and digital commerce, having previously held leadership positions at top companies in the region. His expertise in strategy development, business development, and team management will be invaluable as ACOFDC continues to expand and strengthen its presence in the sub-Saharan Africa region.
This role calls on Kelvin to work directly with key stakeholders, private sector partners, and allies of Africa across the globe. He will be engaging with African Union, African leaders, African Diaspora, Development partners, Non-profits organizations, investors, and other business fora to help expand ACOFDC’s reach and results. He will also be working closely with department heads to implement the chamber’s initiatives and enhance the chamber’s organizational performance and capability.
We are thrilled to have Engineer Kelvin join our team and lead our sub-Saharan Africa operations. His passion for driving digital innovation and track record of success make him the perfect fit for this role. I am confident that under his leadership, our sub-Saharan Africa team will continue to grow and thrive.
